The
old kitchen dated from the late 1940's when the house was built.
An
attempt at "remuddling" had been made in the 1960's.
The
new kitchen has all new insulated windows and door, gas/convection
drop-in range/w downdraft.
Corian
countertops and sink, maple cabinetry with matching panels for the
appliances, and recessed lighting were added. The highlight of the room
is the refinished heart of pine floor discovered under several layers of
old flooring material.
